I'm a former teacher in Tampa, Florida where I live with my husband. I am currently seeking my Master's degree in Accounting while writing the Tales of the Fifth Guardian.

Tales of the Fifth Guardian began long ago, it grew out of playing superhero games on the playground in school and fully began to take shape as a thought exercise - when I tried to figure out how those same Powers and Abilities might manifest in humans without the "Lab accident" scenario. In short, how might we develop such abilities naturally?

 

As I studied legends, mythology, and science, an isolated pocket of People who evolved differently provided the answer and so the seed of the story was born. What if the descendants of the survivors of Atlantis lived among us with all the Power and Abilities of their ancestors?

 

As I tried to answer the question, the story stayed with me and became my "mind story" any time I was bored or waiting on sleep, I would turn my mind over to the story and add another page. Eventually, my characters were named and began clamoring for me to make their story known.  

 

I tried a number of times to put the story to paper and finally succeeded in July of 2009. I began self-publishing in January of 2012. All my artwork and graphics for the series are self-created.
